Brought To You By The Letter "M"

Melissa over at Taking What's Left did this alphabet meme the other day, and she assigned me the letter M. So here are my 10 things that start with the letter M.

1 - Mashed Potatoes. I eat gallons of the things this time of year. Between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day I plan on gaining about 15 pounds. (All of which I am going to blame on Baby B!)

2 - Multicolored Lights. My husband insists on having colored lights on our tree. I kinda want clear (white) lights, but I don't care quite enough to force the issue. You gotta let your husband "win" every once in awhile, right?!?!

3 - Massages. I have lots of aches and pains, so lately I have been going to get a massage every Saturday morning. Hubby stays home with Ally, and I get an hour to myself to relax. Ahhhhhhh

4 - Mistletoe. I once got trapped under some mistletoe by a creepy guy at a high school dance. Not cool. I was a bit of a prude and completely refused to kiss him.

5 - Music. Christmas carols having been playing everyday since Thanksgiving. I love it. Mostly. I guess I need to get some new CDs or download some new songs, because I'm getting a little tired of my stuff. Do you have any great songs that I must listen to????

6 - Merry. One of the things that makes me merry this time of year is Christmas socks. Um, yeah. I said socks. I know it's cheesy, but I still do it. I wear a pair of Christmas socks almost everyday. I have several pairs. Today I'm sporting my red ones that have a snowman and say Merry Christmas.

7 - Margaritas. I have never been a big drinker. I rarely have anything. But now that I'm "banned" from drinking, I CRAVE it. I go out to dinner, and I lust over the mixed drinks the couple next to me are having. I meet friends after work (their work, not mine), and I want to reach over and grab their margaritas. Yes, I know I can have a sip now and then, but right now I want to do more than sip. I want to chug anything fruity and toxic!

8 - Money. Being on a budget is hard. I know so many of you out there are on one too, and I'm sure you're much better at it than me. I have little impulse control, I guess. I go to the store and always end up with things that aren't on my list. This has been hard with Christmas. I keep seeing things that Ally "must" have. I know she'll love it, but she doesn't really need it. Ack, I just need Christmas to get here so I'll stop buying things!

9 - Magic Eraser. This thing is amazing. Ally has developed her artistic side, and this means that walls and floors are just another canvas for her. I'm not sure what I'd do with out my little white scrubber.

10 - Many Thanks. I'd like to give my thanks to all my bloggy friends out there. I am so lucky to know you all. And thank you so much for your kind words and sympathy for Ally and her crazy swollen foot. It's doing much better.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

4 I thought that...:

I LOVE Christmas socks. I love socks in general, but I have a lot of Christmas socks. :)

Mmmmm....mashed potatoes. Can you believe that neither my children nor my husband will eat them!?! Very sad for me. :(

Glad you enjoyed the meme!

I love fun socks, myself. And, it's impossible for me not to impulse buy. The internet is a dangerous temptation.
